These policies are for catalog/custom products from Laysan Bio, a subsidiary of Gannet BioChem, only. We also supply cGMP products, which are shipped using SOPs from the Quality System.
Laysan Bio, a subsidiary of Gannet BioChem, ships orders to domestic and international customers using FedEx overnight for domestic shipments and International Priority for international shipments. These methods are necessary for the stability of our products.
Domestic shipments are typically delivered overnight pending any FedEx weather delays. International shipments typically take 3 to 5 days to clear customs and be delivered.
All duties, customs and international fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. We will send an email with tracking information allowing you to follow the shipment and help prevent delays. In the event there is a customs delay and we are notified, we will pass this information on to the customer by email.
Orders may be shipped prepay and added to the invoice or collect using the customer’s account.
In summer months all products shipping to international customers are shipped on cold packs for the stability of the products. For domestic shipments cold packs will be used for certain products due to their sensitivity. Because of the weight of the cold pack these shipments are typically a little more expensive.
When our products are packaged, they are backfilled with argon gas to displace oxygen then capped and shrink wrapped. We then place them in a zip lock bag with a desiccant to prevent moisture. Because of this technique, our products are able to be transported for up to one week without compromising
the product.
Products should be placed in the freezer when received. All shipments are marked clearly on the outside package and on the inside box containing the product.
A copy of a MSDS/SDS, CoA and storage instructions are sent in an envelope clearly marked with each shipment. For catalog products a copy of the MSDS or SDS can be found on our website.
